Hi, my name is Mary and I am fundraising for my friend Amy. Amy Deere is a 42 year old single mom with three children. She was just diagnosed with rectal cancer. She had her first surgery yesterday and a large portion of her colon was removed. She will be needing at least 6 months of treatment with chemotherapy and radiation. Being the sole bread winner is difficult enough but having this type of diagnosis at Christmas is tragic. She will not be able to work, and making a living to support her family and pay her bills will be impossible. Please consider helping Amy and her family stay in their home, and pay the bills, and maybe they will have a happier Christmas.
