Help Amy Buch Recover from Hurricane Helene

Hi Friends -

Our favorite Chautauqua porch hostess is dealing with devastation at her Dunedin Florida home. Amy Buch has shared videos and photos that show the significant water damage to her home from Hurricane Helene. Unfortunately, Amy’s home took on over 2 ft of water. Thankfully, she is safe; and figuring out a path to handle this emergency.

First, the labor needed is immense. All the wet furniture, mattresses, flooring, appliances, clothing and wet personal items need to be dragged out. Then the wet drywall needs to be removed to try to prevent mold from forming.

Down the line, insurance will help - but there will be so many immediate costs for supplies, tools, fuel, water, and replacement items.

I have chatted with a few friends, and we all just want to help. I believe some friends will be traveling there in person.
