Hi, I’m Nadene and I’m a friend of Amy Bovaird. I first met Amy at West County Lions Club. She is incredible. She volunteers for a medicine bottle program where used medication bottles are cleaned and sent overseas to developing countries. She is a local author and has written several books on mobility and blindness.

Since July of 2025, her vision loss has worsened due to Retinitis Pigmentosa. Amy would do well with an assisted device. She has already trained with a trial pair; however, the cost of these glasses is too expensive. Since she has been unable to work at Giant Eagle since July, even writing has been difficult as she needs a larger screen for her computer. Any help you could give Amy so she can work and write would be very much appreciated.
