Help Amy Barnett with breast cancer expenses

Hi, my name is Janice Emmrich Schiller, and I am raising funds for my beautiful step-daughter, Amy Barnett. On August 24, 2023, Amy (46 years old) was diagnosed with breast cancer, which has now spread to her lymph nodes.

Amy and her husband run their own business and do not have medical coverage due to the high cost for small business owners. They have always simply paid cash for all the annual checkups, broken arms, dental work, etc., for themselves and their four children. (Thankfully, all four kids are adults now and have good jobs of their own, and they all have medical coverage.) Amy and her husband will be getting coverage as soon as open enrollment comes around, but coverage won’t begin until January 1st, 2024.

Our goal is to lift some of this financial weight off their shoulders, and to help them pay for medical expenses that Amy will incur before January 1, 2024… allowing her to focus on her health and well-being.

So far Amy has had two biopsies, and surgery and chemo will begin shortly.
