Medical Fund for Amy and Family

As many of you know, Amy and the Fleckenstein Family have been struggling for years, since 2015 when Amy was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. Amy has had 6 brain surgeries and is still left with crippling pain and seizures. Her neuro team recently tried a new medication to help with these seizures and the TN pain, but it has resulted in horrific side effects including psychological issues where Amy hears and is plagued by voices telling her "she is worthless and should end her life." Many people ask how they can help the family through difficult times. Donations to the Facial Pain Research Foundation are helpful, so someday a cure can be found. Money through this Go Fund Me will help the family with medical and healing costs (this could include doctors, therapists, massage, acupuncture, PT, brain surgeries as well as other healing for the family. This fund can also help with pre-made meals so the family doesn't have to cook every night). A recent change to medical insurance has caused a significant increase in the family's expenses and will effect many of the therapies Amy needs going forward.
