Help Amy

Amy and Nick were approached by an individual who attempted to rob them. As they attempted to get away, they were sprayed and struck by bullets. Amy and Nick both got struck by gunfire and were rushed to the hospital. Nick luckily had a bullet go through and through. Amy was listed as a trauma alert in critical condition and placed on a ventilator in ICU. She has had multiple surgeries to repair the bullet damage, due to the damage doctors decided to keep the incision in her abdomen open until her vitals stabilized. Once her blood pressure stabilized they were able to repair the damage caused by the bullet in her stomach. The third surgery was needed to attend to her back as the bullet was 1cm away from her spine and they needed to be sure she would not have any permanent damage. Amy and Nick share two young children. Amy will not be able to work for an unknown amount of time. They need all the financial support they can receive at this point in time. If you know them you know they have a great heart and are always willing to help everyone around them, at this time we ask for your support in helping their family with financial and hospital obligations that have upraised from this incident. Amy y Nick fueron abordados por un individuo que intentó robarles. Cuando intentaron escapar, fueron rociados y alcanzados por balas. Amy y Nick fueron alcanzados por disparos y fueron trasladados de urgencia al hospital. Nick afortunadamente tuvo una bala que atravesó y salio. Amy fue catalogada como una alerta de trauma en estado crítico y colocada en un ventilador en el ICU. Ha tenido múltiples cirugías para reparar el daño de bala, debido al daño los médicos decidieron mantener abierta la incisión en su abdomen hasta que sus signos vitales se estabilizaran. Una vez que su presión arterial se estabilizó, pudieron reparar el daño causado por la bala en el estómago. La tercera cirugía fue necesaria para atender su espalda ya que la bala estaba a 1 cm de su columna y necesitaban asegurarse de que no tuviera ningún daño permanente. Amy y Nick comparten dos niños pequeños. Amy no podrá trabajar durante un período de tiempo desconocido. Necesitan todo el apoyo financiero que puedan recibir en este momento.
