I am creating this fundraiser for my parents, Amy and Michael Sanderson, after they lost their home in a devastating house fire this morning. In just a matter of hours, they lost nearly everything they owned. Their home was so much more than a house. It was the center of our family, filled with memories, keepsakes, and special things collected over the years, especially for their grandchildren. So much of our family history was inside those walls, and the loss is heartbreaking beyond words. My mom lost cherished military belongings from her years of service, along with her nursing items and other personal things that cannot truly be replaced. My dad lost his work equipment, CPAP machine, phone, and countless keepsakes of his own.

Thankfully, they were able to get their dogs out safely, but they escaped with only the pajamas they were wearing. Right now, they have no clothes, no personal belongings, and none of the everyday essentials they relied on just hours before the fire. Donations will help with immediate needs like clothing, food, temporary housing, medications, medical equipment, and replacing essential work items and helping pay a mortgage for a house that's unlivable while work and life pauses.
