Help Amy and Kids Heal After Tragedy

It’s hard to put this into words. Our dear friend Amy Lydelle and her family are facing yet another unimaginable tragedy.

Just two years ago, they lost everything in a house fire. And now, they’re enduring the devastating loss of Amy’s husband, 38-year-old Derek Lydelle, who was tragically killed in a car accident. Their children were also injured and are currently recovering in the hospital.

Amy is now living every parent and partner’s worst nightmare — going back and forth between the hospital and home, tending to her children’s healing while trying to make arrangements to lay her husband to rest.

With Amy’s full permission (though she’d never ask for help herself), I’ve created a GoFundMe to support the Lydelle family during this incredibly difficult time. Funds will go directly toward funeral expenses, medical bills, lost wages, travel to and from the hospital, and other unexpected costs that come with such a heartbreaking loss.
