Help Amy and Her Family Through Medical Crisis
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ian, but most people know me as Amy's husband. Thank you for taking the time to hear our story.
My wife, Amy, the mother of our three children, is facing her second major medical crisis in just two years. After surviving a near-fatal brain aneurysm in 2022, Amy is now battling an equally life-threatening aortic dissection. On January 3rd, Amy was flown by Lifestar to Hartford Hospital and was placed in the ICU. While working diligently to try and get her condition under control, life outside the hospital hasn't paused. A family losing one half of their income for any amount of time is tough to recover from, especially in today's world. Making things worse would be to lose the place the family calls home due to an unforeseen illness. After exhausting other avenues like 211, DSS, and the new CT Paid FMLA program, which her job does not pay into. Any money raised will be used to support our family's basic needs for a few months and future medical bills. Her ability to return to work and a normal life is still up in the air at the moment.
If you’re unable to donate at this time, please consider sharing our story or keeping Amy in your prayers. Your support, in any form, means the world to us.
Thank you, and God bless.
