Dear Friends,
It’s with great heaviness that I’m writing this to you. Our beloved Amy, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. It's at least stage 2, however tests are still being done to confirm its metastasis. As she is only in her 30s and has two young children, this news has been incredibly difficult for us all.
A lump was discovered last month, and tests confirmed it’s malignancy. We also know that at least one lymph node is affected.
What’s coming next? Amy will have her first surgery this month, followed by radiation, medication therapy, more surgeries and possibly chemotherapy.
Because of the surgeries and treatment plan, Amy won’t be able to work for some time, which means the financial strain—both medical and everyday expenses—will be burdensome for their family. While Amy and Andrew have a great support system, being able to relieve them of one worry would be such a huge gift during this challenging time.
Throughout all of this, Amy has remained the strong, gracious woman we all know and love. Her faith and trust in God are unwavering, and she’s continually thinking about Andrew and their kids. It’s amazing to see how she’s holding on to the belief that God is with her continually.
If you’re able to help, whether through a donation or prayer, it would mean so much to them.
Thank you for standing with us through this challenging time and showing such love and support. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more. Please continue to keep Amy, Andrew, Clementine, and Hudson in your thoughts and prayers.
With Love,
