Hello friends of Bruce, Amy and Madison! Bruce was recently diagnosed with cancer. From Amy: "It was discovered that Bruce has a large mass at the base of his tongue. On 3/16/22 a biopsy confirmed he has oropharynx cancer (tongue/throat) cancer. The mass is not operable due to size and location. We are hopeful chemo and radiation can shrink the tumor and Bruce can beat this. It's been a tough go of it all around. Our positivity, hope, family and friends will and do give us strength. Thank you to those who have reached out, sent positive vibes and offered their help. I hold so much gratitude for you. Love and gratitude, Amy"

 

Bruce is self-employed and has not been able to work as many hours due to not feeling well and it is unknown what his ability to work in the months ahead looks like as he will undergo treatments. Amy will need to take intermittent leave from work as they fight this battle together as a family. They are facing unknown medical bills as well as needing help with day-to-day living expenses as they will experience financial challenges due to loss of income. They are humble and kind people who would give the shirt off their backs for anyone in need, and now that they are in need themselves, I know their friends and loved ones will do whatever they can to help support!
