On late Saturday afternoon, April 21st, a house fire broke out at Amy and Bowie's apartment. Amy and Bowie were able to get out, along with their dog, Ratty, but they have lost most everything. I have watched over the last few years as Amy has worked tirelessly to rebuild her life in an amazing and beautiful way from the ground up, and I'm heartbroken that she's facing this. Any funds donated will be used to replace clothing items, household goods, furniture and help Amy and Bowie find and secure new housing. We are also asking if anybody has any leads on available apartments in the city (furnished would be an incredible blessing) that they reach out so we could help Amy begin to work toward finding a soft place to land.
