Help Amy before and after Heart Transplant

Amy was diagnosed with Covid the first time in April of 2021 and ended up in and out of the hospital due to complications. Throughout the year she has had to deal with severe chest pains that unfortunately damaged her heart. She was again diagnosed in December 2021.

February 2nd she was admitted to the Mankato hospital ICU after dropping Abigail off at school (she hasn't seen her since that morning) for severe chest pain and difficulty breathing and a few days later sent to Rochester Mayo where they ran multiple tests and did many procedures.

Monday February 14th Amy will have open heart surgery in Rochester to fix the damaged areas of her heart. Austin will be at the hospital as only 1 person can be there due to Covid restrictions. Surgery is estimated to take about 6 hours. She will need to stay in the hospital for 5-7 days and then continue to recover at home 6-8 weeks after that.

Any money raised will go directly to bills that will need to be paid while Amy is off work for this extended time and to get caught up on bills that have occurred since she was hospitalized on the 2nd.

Update - I want to thank everyone for anything you have done to make this fundraiser successful.  When I made this fundraiser I only intended to get Amy help after surgery until mid April to help with bills.  Due to her now needing the Heart transplant I am changing the goal amount as she will be in the hospital for 3 months after transplant. 

Update-All money raised will go towards funeral experiences and care for Abby.

The funeral expenses alone are $13,000
