I'm reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and hope. My little sister, Amy Acevedo, was recently involved in a devastating car accident that has turned her world upside down. The accident left her with multiple fractures and confined to a wheelchair. Amy survived the horrific car accident only by the grace of God. Her car was totaled, and the recovery process has forced her to take a year off from college, putting her hard-earned scholarships at risk.

Amy is a bright and determined young woman who has always been full of life and ambition. She was thriving in her studies and working towards her dreams when this unforeseen tragedy struck. Now, she faces the long and challenging road to recovery, which includes learning how to walk again.

While we are incredibly grateful that she survived the accident and is out of the hospital, the reality is that the expenses are overwhelming. We are raising funds to help cover her medical bills, ongoing therapy, unexpected costs, college tuition, and the need for a new car.
