I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my brother, Amran, a 27-year-old man who was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) after a difficult two-month period of tests and scans at American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), Libanon.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease affecting the brain and spinal cord. This damage results in scars that disrupt nerve signals and lead to various symptoms, like visual disturbances, sensory impairments, motor dysfunction, pain, and psychological changes such as depression.
Amran’s doctor has prescribed a crucial IV treatment to manage his MS, which he needs every six months initially, possibly extending to 8-10 months in the future. Unfortunately, each injection costs over $2,000—a daunting amount in Lebanon’s current economic crisis, where resources for medical treatment are severely limited.
To help Amran receive this life-changing treatment, I’m setting up this GoFundMe to cover his treatment costs. We have all the medical documentation and every donation will go directly towards ensuring he can manage his MS and continue to work towards his future. Please consider donating or sharing Amran’s story to support him in his journey.
Thank you so much for your generosity.
Kind regards,
Basel and Johannes
