My name is Amparo and I’m reaching out because I fell behind on rent about four months ago. Since then I’ve been receiving mutual aid support but I’m still behind and the past due rent has been dragging on. Now I’m hoping to catch up so I can avoid eviction and regain stability. As a disabled autistic Latina immigrant, Ive been applying for work-from-home jobs but nothing’s come through yet. I don’t have anyone else I can turn to for help and losing my housing would seriously impact my health and well being.
