Hi everyone, as most of you know that’s my dad in the pictures above. He recently had a  hemorrhagic stroke, an emergency condition in which a ruptured blood vessel causes bleeding inside the brain. He is currently in the ICU, needing very close attention. The doctors had told my mom to expect the worst, but I know my dad is a fighter and will overcome this. He was said to have about 2 inches of bleeding in his brain, but we are still waiting for more tests.

I know my dad, and I know he is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Working at Sierra High School for more than 10 years was truly his passion. One thing I would always remember and cherish was that he would drive down to the track field and hand me food while I would be cheering on the sidelines on a football night. Little acts like that really showed my dad’s way of being affectionate although he hardly ever showed it. My dad deserves the world, and I know he’s a strong man inside and out. I wish to get as much support as I can to help him. This really aches my heart to be in a situation like this.
