Me llamo Amore Disaya Sierra Cano y soy una mujer transgénero con raizes Mexicanas, de 24 años que vive en Atlanta, Georgia. Hoy, humildemente, busco apoyo en uno de los momentos más difíciles de mi vida. En la madrugada del sábado 26 de abril, mientras trabajaba como seguridad, mi casa fue allanada inesperadamente por agentes de ICE. Entraron sin previo aviso, registraron cada habitación y detuvieron a todos los que encontraron. Aunque no estaba en casa en ese momento, las consecuencias me han dejado emocionalmente conmocionada y vulnerable económicamente.

Como resultado de este traumático incidente, ahora corro el riesgo de perder mi vivienda, mi sensación de seguridad y estabilidad. Aunque desearía que fuera fácil mudarme o empezar de cero, la realidad es mucho más compleja. Ahora mismo, solo intento llegar a fin de mes con un techo.

Hago todo lo posible por mantenerme fuerte y con esperanza, pero no puedo hacerlo sola. Si puede contribuir de alguna manera, su apoyo será indescriptible. Y si no puede donar, le pido que comparta esta campaña con otras personas que puedan ayudar.

My name is Amore Disaya Sierra Cano, and I am a 24-year-old Mexican-American transgender woman living in Atlanta, GA. Today, I am humbly reaching out for support during one of the most difficult times of my life.

In the early hours of Saturday, April 26th, while I was working my job as a security officer, my home was unexpectedly raided by ICE officials. They entered without warning, searched every room, and detained everyone they encountered. Though I wasn’t home at the time, the aftermath has left me emotionally shaken and financially vulnerable.

As a result of this traumatic incident, I am now at risk of losing my housing—my sense of safety and stability. While I wish it were simple to relocate or start fresh, the reality is far more complex. Right now, I’m just trying to make it through the end of the month with a roof over my head.
