Hello everyone ,my name is Fatima I’m fundraising for my 12 years old daughter her name is Yara .Yara was born with lots of health issues where Tuberous sclerosis is the main diagnosis .Yara has other medical conditions that came along with her condition which includes severe intellectual disability ,severe speech delay autism spectrum , abnormal tumors growth in her brain heart and kidneys ,behavioral problems and seizures disorders.I’m fundraising this for my daughter’s sensory room that will take place in my non finished basement space which will be used as classroom for her homeschooling as I finally made my decision that homeschooling is safe for my Yara as we are still unable to control her seizures which she is taking meds for since 6 months old.This will help me keep my child home so she can be closely supervised by her dad it will also keep my child safe since she is getting older and my fear of her being enabled to tell me what ,whom or how if anything happens to her while at school is worrying me so much, while I’m working everyday I keep praying that I will never receive emergency call to tell me that seizure took my daughter’s life or did more damage to her brain . Yara is very strong and sweet girl she did face lot of challenges in her first years of childhood as child who admires to play with friends but she was always kicked out by kids her age “ hard to say for me but we were kicked out because of Yara’s condition by family too “ Yara does not understands what people say about her which I’m glad for . Hoping this new space will make her feel safe ,loved and cared for .Im doing half of the project from my own”drywalls ,ceiling and flooring “as some of you who know me well know I’m doing another job during the weekend to save money to put things together but the sensory room is not very affordable to do “this includes smart board safety equipment ,furniture that will be harmless in case of emergency situations where Yara can be fine if she collapses while having seizure we also needs special education equipment as well as gym equipment that we can use for her balance issues “.I need it for my daughter it will make her so happy and ,she will be able to access it anytime this will be her space that I will work on training her to learn new skills that may benefits her at later age I’m asking all of you to help me and to share this for Yara she will be so happy and I’ll be thankful if you help me make this happen and my apologies if this was so long I’m Yara’s advocate she really deserves the best and I’m doing my best to give her what she needs.Please help me share this as much as possible I don’t have any friends or relatives that will do this for me .
