Amoa Salaam has worked tirelessly to reach this incredible milestone, graduating from Howard University as a Mathematics major and Kiswahili language minor with Magna Cum Laude honors. Despite facing several challenges, from the COVID pandemic to personal health, Amoa persevered through his time at Howard. And although these obstacles made his journey difficult his determination never wavered!
Amoa now stands on the threshold of graduation and transition to Graduate School where he will be focusing on Ethno-mathematics—the math of indigenous African cultures. Amoa is asking for our financial support to help him as he is crossing into the next phase of his life.
Your generosity will allow him to fulfill his academic and spiritual goals and continue his work to uplift African communities. Every contribution brings him closer to realizing his dreams and making a lasting impact in his community.
Throughout his undergraduate tenure, Amoa has studied four African languages served as a mentor for young men and maintained a 3.76 Gpa. Amoa has sustained his commitment to both academic excellence and cultural development and now he needs assistance from his community.
He needs support for his graduation trip to Ghana where he will complete his spiritual training, and for the next phase of his journey to Graduate school.
