Hi, my name is Amna Idris, and first—I want to thank you for simply taking the time to read this. I’m a mother of two beautiful children, an educator, and someone who never imagined she’d be in this position.

This is incredibly difficult and humbling for me. Asking for help is truly my last resort, and I do so with a heart full of both hope and vulnerability.

After nearly 12 years of marriage, I’m now facing a painful and turbulent divorce and custody battle that has completely shaken my life.
