Help Amit Soni's Family After Princeton TX Shooting Trauma

On the evening of May 21, 2025, what was supposed to be a joyful day at the community pool in Princeton, Texas, turned into a life-altering trauma for my family.

While spending time with my child and my elderly father who recently visiting from India, gunshots rang out from a parking lot altercation right next to the pool. In that moment of terror, I rushed to protect my child—but in the chaos, my father, a peaceful visitor with no connection to the conflict, collapsed due to cardiac arrest caused by extreme shock. I performed CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation until emergency responders arrived. He is now in critical condition in the ICU at McKinney Medical City.

He had just arrived from India on April 15 to spend quality time with his grandchildren. Now, he's fighting for his life in a foreign country, unfortunately without insurance coverage, and far from home.

We are raising funds for:

• Life-saving medical care and ICU bills

• Legal and consular support to navigate this incident

• Basic needs and emotional support for our traumatized family, especially the young children who witnessed the event

We are also in urgent need of pro bono legal help, victim advocacy, and any support from kind-hearted community members who believe in justice and compassion.
