Hi, my name is Yvonni, and I’m fundraising for my daughter, Amira.

On Saturday night ( July 5 ) at 11:30 PM, while staying at the Disney Resort, my 10-month-old daughter Amira suffered a seizure. She was rushed by ambulance and admitted to a hospital here in Orlando. We are far from home, and my family does not live in this area. We are told we will have to stay for a few days to monitor her and treat her.

We were scheduled to check out on Sunday morning to return home for work on Monday, but because of Amira’s emergency, we have had to extend our stay unexpectedly. We reached out to Disney for accommodations, but unfortunately, they were unable to help.

The costs of Amira’s treatment, along with medical expenses not covered by insurance, have placed a huge financial burden on us. Additionally, we need housing for my husband and our 3-year-old, since the hospital is not allowing our older child to stay with us.

My husband is a dedicated veteran who has served our country in the Army since 2017. We are doing everything we can to focus on Amira’s health and keep our family together during this difficult time, but we need your help.

Your support will go toward uncovered medical bills, necessary treatments, and housing costs so our family can stay close to Amira while she receives the care she needs.
