Those of you who know me personally know how difficult it is for me to publicly ask for help like this but unfortunately my situation reached urgent circumstances a couple weeks ago and it's time for me to publicly ask for help. My ex-girlfriend and I separated in early December and it has left both of us in a financially delicate spot. I'm a full time student and because she's struggled with job instability, for the past 6 months we've both been financially dependent on the income from my internship, which only allows me to work 20 hours a week. Because I am only two quarters away from finishing my current program, the original plan I had developed consisted of me doing survival sex work to save enough money to move out in February/March without having to drop out of school.

Unfortunately though, my circumstances have now grown dire without sharing too many details about the complications of it. Since my name is not on the lease, it has been made very clear to me that I can be kicked out at any time and I have come scarily close to that threat becoming my reality again a couple days before Christmas so I can no longer consider survival sex work as an adequate means of supporting myself to move out of her apartment without self-endangerment. I'm 23 and this would be my second time experiencing homelessness which would completely break me at this point in my life. I cannot live my life under the possibility of being kicked out again on a whim and cannot financially pull myself out of this right now; I cannot let things that are beyond my control ruin my life forever. I never intended to speak publicly about any of this, I live my life pretty privately, but I do really need the financial assistance to get me into a stable housing situation so truly, anything helps.
