My name is Amirah, and I am stepping into one of the most important chapters of my life: pursuing my Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the #1 school of public health in the world. This program represents more than a degree for me. It is the pathway to expanding my impact, strengthening public health systems, and improving outcomes for communities that have long faced barriers to quality care.
I have spent my career in clinical research operations and project management, supporting multisite studies, coordinating diverse teams, and improving the systems that make high quality research possible. My work has always centered people, ensuring that research is ethical, accessible, and designed to improve real lives. Now, I am ready to take that commitment further.
Why I Am Fundraising
As a part time DrPH student, my tuition is charged per credit, and the cost adds up quickly. I am committed to completing this degree without taking on student loans.
