Hi, I am the mother of a beautiful, bright, intelligent young lady who aspires to become a future nurse. She chose to attend Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as her school of choice. Because she is an out-of-state student, tuition for her was a lot more expensive than my pockets would allow. But with God, I was able to put her through her first semester, and she finished strong on the Dean’s list. She came home on her winter break and returned to school on Monday, January 12, 2026. I received a call on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, that she may have to return home due to the fact that financially her tuition was going to be more than I could handle alone this semester. She was also informed that though they indicated that she did not have a payment due in December at the end of the last semester, she actually did have to pay that payment as well. I just dropped my daughter off at school, which is supposed to be a happy time for her to be back with her friends and her fellow Inspirational Voices Gospel Choir members, in which she was very excited. But now she is being told that if she does not have her tuition down payment of $750, she will have to return home. They had canceled all of her classes, and she did not have a meal plan or anything.
I know God is a miracle worker, and I’m believing Him to work this miracle out for her. I trust God. The funny thing is I sent her a prayer this morning, telling her to trust God and the process, and then today I found myself doubting the very words that I had said to her. But God, you have never failed us.
I am reaching out for your help. Normally, I would not make such an elaborate post. But I saw firsthand this past semester what God can do. Amira finished the semester very strong and was looking forward to finishing out her years strong. Please help her to succeed in her future. No amount is too small.
