Help Amira Fight Her Brain Tumor!

Amira is a fun, loving, spunky girl who loves playing sports!  She is currently a junior in high school. She has played football and has done cheerleading, among many other activities.  Amira has suffered four concussions due to sport related injuries. 

During testing of her last concussion, a non-related brain tumor was discovered. Due to the location of the tumor the team of doctors decided a biopsy was too risky to try.   Amira was placed on a combination of medications in an attempt to shrink the tumor.  Unfortunately, the medications were unsuccessful.   This week the family goes back to the doctors to discuss surgery options.

Amira and her family would benefit from any amount you could donate!  Covid has caused stress on the family.  Travel to and from Chicago has become even more expensive with gas prices rising, etc .  Amira's mom will be taking time off work to help her daughter.   Amira's family should be able to concentrate on Amira's health, not fall into financial hardship during this stressful time!
