We are Amir and Alma, angels from Gaza... Do you have a little time to read our story?

After 5 years of waiting, we came into life. After our mother’s struggles, medications, treatments, and pain, we were the awaited joy for our parents. They had prepared for us a beautiful room, a warm bed, and the most beautiful baby clothes.

And fortunately for our mother, she gave birth to us a month before the fateful day, October 7th, the day the war on Gaza started.

We fled our home with our family a week after the war began. We were left without clothes and without proper shelter as winter arrived in the worst possible conditions. Our father struggled to provide the necessary milk and diapers, knowing that his salary had been stopped, and there was no income.

From one displacement to another, and from one hardship to another, today we are a year and a half old. A year and a half without proper food, without a warm home, and without the tools needed for development.

A year and a half of war, pain, fear, and cold. Instead of a year that should have been filled with love, life, tenderness, and comfort.
