Hi, my name is Aminah. I’m a traveling hairstylist and creative, stepping deeper into the purpose placed on my life. My vision is to teach the next generation how to use hair as a form of self expression to build confidence. My gift has taken me into people’s homes, backstage, across states, and into rooms I once prayed for — and now I’m ready to take the next step in my journey.

I am raising $12,000 to pay off my cosmetology school balance so I can officially re-enroll, finish my hours, and finally become a licensed cosmetologist. This has been on my heart for a long time, and after a lot of reflection, humility, and alignment, I know this is the right moment to ask for support.

I began my cosmetology journey with passion and intention, but like many people, life shifted in ways I didn’t expect. Financial barriers forced me to pause school before completing my hours, even though my love for hair never stopped. Over the years, I’ve continued to grow my skills, build my clientele, travel for work, and pour into my craft but without finishing school, there is a ceiling on how far I can go.

Becoming licensed isn’t just a career step for me… it’s a calling. A huge part of my motivation is becoming the first cosmetologist in my family & my love for hair color. That’s where I feel the most alive as an artist. But I can’t fully indulge in that passion until I’m licensed. So finishing what I started holds a deeper meaning. Finishing school represents possibility, legacy, and breaking generational patterns.
