Help Amin and His Mother – A Family in Urgent Need

Je m'appelle Lisa Horstmann, je vis à Bruxelles, en Belgique.

Ma mère (Lara Cowez) et moi avons noué un lien très fort avec Amin Fathi, un jeune homme de 29 ans vivant à Gaza, qui fait aujourd’hui partie de notre famille de cœur. Il nous appelle “second mom” et "sister".

Nous nous appelons tous les jours. Nous partageons ses peurs, ses peines, ses espoirs, ses silences. Malgré les conditions insoutenables dans lesquelles il vit, il garde une force et une douceur incroyables.

Amin est quelqu’un de profondément sensible, cultivé et généreux. Rien n'est plus important pour lui que sa famille, et nous envoie chaque jour des photos de ses nombreux neveux et nièces qu’il chérit tant. Il faisait des études de langues, il parle arabe, anglais, turc, et apprend maintenant le français.

Il nous parle souvent avec nostalgie de l’époque où il vivait dans une grande maison avec un jardin et des animaux, un lieu qu’il aimait profondément, et qu’il entretenait avec passion.

Il y a un peu plus d’un an, Amin a tragiquement perdu sa fiancée dans un bombardement. Aujourd’hui, son père est gravement malade. Il a reçu une autorisation officielle pour quitter Gaza et être opéré en Égypte. Mais pour que sa femme et son fils puissent l’accompagner, des frais importants doivent être couverts : sortie du territoire, transport, hébergement temporaire, démarches administratives…

Nous avons personnellement rencontré sa sœur, qui vit en sécurité à Anvers, en Belgique, avec son mari et leurs deux petites filles. Elle a pu quitter Gaza en 2019. Amin et ses parents rêvent de les retrouver, de sortir de l’enfer et de se reconstruire, enfin.

Ils ont de plus en plus peur qu'il soit trop tard pour le papa. Cette situation ne peut plus durer. Amin à travers nous, veut sauver son père, il a besoin de notre aide. Sans cet argent, impossible pour la maman et Amin de l'accompagner.

Nous lançons cette cagnotte pour collecter 25.000€, la somme nécessaire pour permettre à Amin et à sa mère d’accompagner légalement leur père/époux lors de ce transfert médical.

L’argent sera envoyé par des canaux personnels sécurisés, uniquement à des fins familiales et humanitaires, sans aucun lien politique ou organisationnel.

Nous garantissons que chaque euro sera utilisé pour couvrir les besoins essentiels : documents de sortie, frais de transport, hébergement, nourriture, soins.

Allah dit dans le Coran :

Hello everyone,

My name is Lisa Horstmann, and I live in Brussels, Belgium.

Together with my mother, Lara Cowez, we have developed a deep and special bond with Amin Fathi, a 29-year-old man living in Gaza, who has truly become part of our chosen family. He calls my mother his “second mom” and me his “sister.”

We talk to him every single day. We share his fears, his sorrows, his hopes, and his silences. Despite the unbearable conditions he is living in, he remains incredibly strong, kind, and gentle.

Amin is a deeply sensitive, thoughtful, and generous person. Nothing matters more to him than his family. He sends us photos every day of his many beloved nieces and nephews, who mean the world to him.

Amin was studying languages. He speaks Arabic, English, and Turkish, and is now learning French.

He often speaks with great nostalgia about the time when he lived in a large house with a garden and animals — a place he loved deeply, and cared for with passion.

Just over a year ago, Amin tragically lost his fiancée in a bombing.

Today, his father is seriously ill. He has received official permission to leave Gaza and undergo surgery in Egypt. But in order for his wife and son to accompany him, significant costs must be covered: border exit fees, transport, temporary housing, and administrative procedures.

We have personally met his sister, who now lives safely in Antwerp, Belgium, with her husband and their two little girls. She was able to leave Gaza in 2019. Amin and his parents dream of being reunited with her, of escaping this nightmare, and finally rebuilding their lives in peace.

They are now terrified that it might be too late for their father. This situation cannot continue. Through us, Amin is trying to save his father, and he needs our help. Without this money, it will be impossible for Amin and his mother to go with him.

We are launching this fundraiser to collect €25,000 — the amount needed to allow Amin and his mother to accompany their father/husband on this humanitarian medical journey.

The money will be transferred through secure personal channels, used exclusively for family and humanitarian purposes, with no political or organizational affiliation whatsoever.

We guarantee that every euro will go directly to essential needs: exit permits, transportation, housing, food, and medical care.

Every euro counts. Even the smallest donation can change a life.

Allah says in the Qur’an:

“Whoever lends to Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it for him and grant him a generous reward.”

(Surah Al-Hadid – Chapter 57)

And as a universal truth reminds us:

“The only thing that can restore faith in humanity is the unexpected kindness of strangers.”

This verse, found in sacred texts across many traditions, brings us all together:

“Whoever saves one life, it is as if they had saved all of humanity.”

أنا ووالدتي (لارا كويز) كوّنا علاقة قوية وخاصة مع أمين فتحي، شاب يبلغ من العمر 29 عامًا يعيش في غزة، وقد أصبح اليوم جزءًا من عائلتنا القلبية.

ينادي والدتي “أمي الثانية”، ويناديني “أختي”.

نتحدث معه كل يوم. نشاركه مخاوفه، وأحزانه، وآماله، وحتى صمته.

ورغم الظروف القاسية التي يعيشها، يبقى أمين قويًا، رقيقًا ومليئًا باللطف والكرامة.

أمين شخص حساس، مثقف، وكريم. لا شيء أهم لديه من عائلته. يرسل لنا كل يوم صورًا لأبناء وبنات إخوته الذين يحبهم كثيرًا.

كان يدرس اللغات، ويتحدث العربية، والإنجليزية، والتركية، وهو الآن يتعلم الفرنسية.

كثيرًا ما يتحدث بحنين عن الأيام التي كان يعيش فيها في منزل كبير فيه حديقة وحيوانات. كان يحب ذلك المكان ويعتني به بشغف.

قبل أكثر من عام، فقد أمين خطيبته في قصف مأساوي.

واليوم، والده مريض جدًا، وقد حصل على تصريح رسمي لمغادرة غزة لإجراء عملية جراحية في مصر.

ولكن لكي يتمكن ابنه وزوجته من مرافقته، يجب دفع مبالغ كبيرة لتغطية تكاليف الخروج من القطاع، والنقل، والإقامة المؤقتة، والإجراءات الإدارية.

لقد التقينا شخصيًا بشقيقته، التي تعيش الآن بأمان في أنتويرب، بلجيكا، مع زوجها وابنتيها الصغيرتين. وقد تمكنت من مغادرة غزة في عام 2019.

أمين ووالداه يحلمون بلقائها من جديد، والخروج من هذا الكابوس، وبناء حياة جديدة بسلام.

هم الآن يخشون أن يفوت الأوان على والدهم. لا يمكن أن تستمر هذه الحالة.

من خلالنا، يحاول أمين إنقاذ والده، ويحتاج إلى مساعدتنا.

بدون هذا المال، سيكون من المستحيل على أمين ووالدته مرافقته.

نطلق هذه الحملة لجمع 25,000 يورو، وهو المبلغ اللازم لتمكين أمين ووالدته من مرافقة والدهما/زوجها في هذه الرحلة العلاجية الإنسانية.

قال الله تعالى في القرآن الكريم :

(سورة الحديد – الآية 57)

وكما تقول حكمة إنسانية عالمية :

« الشيء الوحيد الذي يعيد الإيمان بالإنسانية هو طيبة الغرباء غير المتوقعة. »

وهذا القول، الموجود في الكتب السماوية المختلفة، يجمعنا جميعًا :

« من أحياها فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعًا »
