Dear Friends and Family, my name is Lily, Amilcar Monge's niece. My family and I are coming to you asking for support for our beloved Tio Amilcar in his fight against liver cancer.

My uncle has served as a devoted pastor for the past 30 years, spreading love, joy, and hope to all who know him. He is also a loving and joyful father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. You can hear his laughter miles away and feel his radiant energy when meeting him.

He has selflessly put others first, always extending a helping hand to those in need.

We are hopeful that as a community we can raise $20,000 in donations to alleviate the financial burden that comes with medical expenses. He will need to undergo surgery to remove the cancerous tumor, have 6 chemotherapy sessions and will need to travel from Mazatenango, Guatemala to the Capital of Guatemala to receive medical help. We hope that us helping him financially will allow him to focus solely on his recovery.
