Help Ami with kidney transplant expenses…

Hi Folks - our friend Ami Matlock is in the process of testing to qualify for the ‘National Kidney Registry’, or ‘Kidney Transplant List’. After eight long years of Renal Hemodialysis, there is no one more deserving of a kidney transplant than Ami. While Ami has Medicare and insurance through her employer which should cover most of the cost of the transplant, there will still be a need to cover ‘incidental’ costs as they arise. For example, both Ami & her husband Jim will be off of work for 6-8 weeks during Ami’s recovery. Jim is Ami’s required caretaker during the recovery time after the transplant. I mean, of course he would be! There’s also going to be travel costs and lodging associated with this, as Ami & Jim will be traveling to Salt Lake City to see this procedure completed. They will need to stay in SLC for the 6-8 weeks following the transplant. On top of all this, the Matlock’s will still have house & vehicle payments to tend to back home, along with all of their other expenses. There’s no better time than the present to start a ‘GFM’ such as this, to have assistance funds waiting. Ami’s turn is soon to come to receive a gracious gift of life, and we’re all cheering for her!
