On November 7th, a fire tore through the Olympia Place apartment complex in Amherst, Massachusetts. The fire, which spread rapidly, displaced hundreds of residents, many of them UMass Amherst students.

Among those affected are our close friends, Uma, Aiko, and Akshatha who lost their homes and belongings overnight. They are all safe but are now starting from scratch, without essentials like clothing, school materials, and daily necessities.

We are organizing this fundraiser to help them rebuild after this unimaginable loss. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping them secure temporary housing, replace essential items like clothing and bedding, and begin to regain stability in the weeks ahead.
