Support Federal Way AmeriCorps Members Affected by Funding Cuts

In April 2025, major federal budget cuts led to the abrupt loss of funding for AmeriCorps programs across the country. In Federal Way, WA, these cuts left many AmeriCorps members without jobs, income, or time to prepare.

I served in this program and later worked for it. I've seen the positive impact these members make—supporting schools, serving families, and strengthening the local community. They dedicate a year of their lives to public service, often on modest stipends, because they believe in making a difference.

This fundraiser is intended to support AmeriCorps members in Federal Way who were affected by the cuts. Funds will help cover essentials like food, rent, and transportation while they transition into new roles or opportunities.
