Hero Imprisoned for Volunteering—Now His Family’s Penniless
Donation protected
Today, the federal government emptied the Harrell family’s bank accounts despite a court order stating that restitution payments were not to begin until March 1, 2028, at just $100 a month. Now, Jeremy, Erin, and their children are left with next to nothing.
Jeremy Harrell is a U.S. Army combat veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He suffers from PTSD and traumatic brain injuries sustained during his service and was deemed permanently disabled and unemployable by the VA.
As part of his healing, Jeremy began volunteering with veterans through a faith-based nonprofit he founded called Veterans Club. He served as CEO without ever taking a paycheck, helping other veterans battle PTSD, addiction, and homelessness. His volunteerism was even praised by President Trump and recognized with multiple national awards.
After publicly criticizing the Biden administration and being mentioned as a potential conservative candidate, the DOJ came after him. In 2024, Jeremy was wrongfully convicted of theft of government funds simply for volunteering too much while receiving VA disability. He was sentenced to 6 months in federal prison. Despite being on home confinement and unable to work, the government has now seized what little his family had left.
Erin is the sole provider and recently had to take out a second mortgage just to cover mounting legal costs. Now their family has been left with absolutely nothing.
A pardon request has already been submitted and is awaiting review at the White House. If President Trump knew a veteran was being treated this way, there is no doubt he would be outraged.
All funds raised will go directly to Erin Harrell to help cover essential needs, including housing, food, and legal expenses.
Please consider donating, sharing, and praying for American hero, Jeremy Harrell, and his family.
Let's let them know they are not fighting this battle alone.
