My name is James. I live in Portugal and I'm raising money for Amer Raider, who lives in Gaza and who is trying to keep himself and his five family members alive under impossible conditions.

Amer is unable to open his own GoFundMe account so I agreed to help him and send the money raised onto him.

Even basic items like food and water have become very expensive now. Amer needs money to try and buy enough food for himself, his parents and his brothers and sisters.

This is Amer's story in his own words:

"At the beginning of the war, the coordinator ordered the evacuation of us from our homes, and we were forced to evacuate and leave all our memories and items (clothes), for example, in our homes. We evacuated, and the occupation planes never stopped, day and night, bombing Albion and the people. We went to the shelter centers, but after trouble and hardship, and then they began to strike the places around the centers. Sheltering There were injuries inside the shelter centers and the difficulty of transporting the injured and martyrs to the hospital due to the difficult situation of the occupation because it was sniping at everyone who moved and they cut off humanitarian aid. Also, there were no medications inside the hospital to treat the patients and the nurses were operating on the injured without anesthesia!! Can you imagine the amount of pain?? it is very difficult.

After all this trouble and hardship, they told us to evacuate the shelter centers in Khan Yunis through the checkpoint they had built. They were taking young men, torturing them, and beating them severely. Some of the people who owned the shelter centers in Khan Yunis were forced by the occupation to leave them. We had harsh nights of cold and hunger, and they killed many people. In Khan Yunis, they even had difficulty finding water to drink.

Then we returned to the eastern regions and they forcibly displaced us from them and we were displaced and exposed to killing and I was injured in my hand. I hope you can help me."
