From our blood drive on 8/22, we were able to collect 28 pints of blood, saving up to 84 lives! Your donation is truly appreciated by the blood recipients, their loved ones, and all of us here at HP Tuners.

Meet Amelie a 12-year-old super sassy Swiftie fan with the most awesome sense of humor! She is currently recovering from a bone marrow transplant for relapsed leukemia.

This is Amelie’s 4th battle with leukemia. Since being first diagnosed at the age of 3, Amelie has been fighting tirelessly for much of her life in the hospital undergoing a range of treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy, and nearly 100 blood and platelet transfusions. She has suffered more in her 12 years than some adults will ever suffer in a lifetime! She is the bravest, strongest, and most resilient being I’ve ever met!

This treatment has been the toughest so far, with Amelie isolated and suffering immensely in the hospital for 17 weeks away from her family, friends, and her fur baby cockerpoo, Toby. She dreams of her home comforts, bed, proper blinds to keep daylight out, and no beeping from the machines. We hope it will not be too far away for her now.

Amelie’s childhood has been snatched away by this evil disease. She longs for some normality and to experience being a carefree child again, with no worries, just some fun doing the things she loves: make-up, music, giraffes, and turtles. She has missed out on so so much and deserves the absolute world after all she’s been through.

When I asked Amelie what she would do if she could do anything in the world, she said she’d like to have breakfast with the giraffes at Giraffe Manor and release baby turtles back into the wild. Please help make Amelie’s dreams come true!
