As of yesterday, my stepmom Amelia had to go to the ER. The doctors told us she had septic shock, which was caused by an infection in her kidneys. They told us she has a chance to recover, but it seems very unlikely due to her dementia and Alzheimer's.

I'm hoping to help my dad raise money for my stepmom's funeral expenses. He just retired about a year ago, and I don't want him to sell his house that he planned to live in after his retirement. Anything helps.
