Help Amelia Seek Her Dream of Humanitarian Design

Hi, my name is Amelia Rothfuss. I am currently a student a Lawrence Technological University pursuing a bachelor's in Interior Architecture. I am looking to fundraise for an educational opportunity to travel across seas to practice humanitarian design in South Africa with the Internation Design Clinic. This program will allow me to practice a unique aspect of design that I have only dreamed of doing.

The SU23 program begins with a research portion that stretches from the beginning of summer, until the three-week travel which starts July 23rd. The program brief this year includes building a multisensory pavilion for people with disabilities. As an Interior Designer, I am extremely passionate about this brief as it hits close to home. This will elevate my skillset in universal design and will allow for more opportunities in the future to share knowledge and to be an advocate for this type of design to grow.

These donations would help cover travel expenses and program costs.
