My daughter, Amelia, was born via emergency c-section at 25 weeks gestational age due to a complication in my pregnancy with her and her twin sister. Due to this, Amelia had a lack of oxygen around the time of delivery that caused brain damage and left her with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

Since her diagnosis, Amelia has faced many challenges, but she continues to amaze us with her strength and determination. She works hard every day in therapy to improve her mobility and communication, and we are so proud of her progress. We are now on a list for her to receive stem cell therapy at Duke University Hospital. This is an experimental treatment for CP that has shown promising results for improving gross and fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, and communication skills.

The cost for this stem cell treatment is $15,000, which is not covered by insurance. Every penny raised will go towards helping Amelia receive the stem cell therapy and making her future bigger and brighter.
