On July 3rd I took a fall of about 30 feet shattering my right foot/lower leg and breaking both my left arm and leg. I also fractured my neck (C 5/6) and broke my back (L1).
After enduring 5 surgeries and more to come, my friends and family have asked for ways they can help support me so I thought starting this fundraiser would be a perfect solution.
Due to this shocking turn of events in my life, I can’t go to college this year. I would be so appreciative to get help catching up on funds because I have missed so much time at work to save the money that I need. I am also not able to push my own wheelchair and sadly insurance doesn’t cover a motorized wheelchair. I also was holding my phone when I fell and It was completely crushed. Lastly, there is the expense of the two week hospital stay that is my responsibility as an adult. Although, luckily my dads insurance will cover most of the funds except a $5,000 deductible.
Any help for any of these things would mean the world to my family and I. I am so glad and thankful that I am alive. Thank you so much for your help in these tough times. And I want to say thank you for all of the prayers I have been receiving.
