Help Amelia deal with life after a Stroke
Donation protected
Hello friends,
On March 3rd, 2023 Amelia suffered a stroke and is in need of your support in recovery. She is only 43 years old and the lone provider for her family. She takes care of her father with dementia, her son & all things necessary for the family. This stroke has left her unable to work for an undetermined amount of time and will surely cause financial distress. We are asking that you give whatever possible in the hopes that her recovery can be as stress free as possible. Undoubtedly the process will be difficult, expensive and quite lengthy, as she will need intensive aftercare and may not return to work for months. The tragic nature of a medical trauma like this is hard to imagine happening to such a wonderful woman, mother, and friend. It’s our hope that Amelia will be able to make a full recovery and all of the support we can provide will help that happen.
Her current situation is uncertain. As it stands she is comfortably staying in the hospital for at least another few days after which she will be transferred to an inpatient post stroke rehab center. While she does have insurance it’s unclear what financial burden she will be shouldered with. This fund is going to help pay for all the things she has been responsible for prior the stroke, things such as rent, groceries, care for her father, car insurance, utilities, medical bills, phone service, and so many other things life will throw at her and family.
You support will be extremely appreciated and we will all be grateful for anything given.
Gratefully,
Friends of Amelia.
