Hello, my name is Fathima Ameesha. I am 25 years old, from Kerala, India. I hold an M.Sc. in Computational Physics from the Central University of Punjab, and I was recently employed as a Physics teacher at Ansar Higher Secondary School, Memunda. I have also worked with UNICEF (Thrissur). But today, instead of pursuing my career and dreams, I am fighting for my survival and justice.
My life has been turned upside down due to family violence, abuse, and illegal confinement. When I tried to seek justice through the legal system, I faced even more harassment, threats, and violence. I am still fighting multiple cases to hold the guilty accountable, but in the process, I lost my home, safety, and financial stability.
On 2nd July, I was abducted by goons who were hired to attack me. I was beaten, slapped, inappropriately touched, and illegally confined in a private mental hospital without any court order or psychiatric evaluation. When I sought justice through the legal system, instead of being protected, I was abused, humiliated, threatened, and pressured to withdraw my legal proceedings. I am still fighting multiple cases to hold the guilty accountable. I have attached reports as evidence.
I had made some savings from my previous job, but they could not last long. I have also lost multiple job opportunities as a teacher because I do not have access to my original certificates, passport, and laptop, which are being unlawfully withheld by the accused to threaten me into backing off from my legal proceedings. This has made it extremely difficult to find stable work or even continue online teaching, which required a laptop and was my only livelihood.
Right now, I am staying in a lodge away from my family, but the threats continue. I am trying my best to survive, but I urgently need help to cover my basic living expenses for the next 3 months so that I can stay safe, focus on my legal battle, and rebuild my life. I am aiming to raise €1000 to cover my expenses and purchase a tablet that will help me restart my work. Your generous donations will enable me to support myself as I continue to fight the accusations and explore remote work opportunities.
