Hello, my name is Ameera McClain & I’m fundraising money to continue my journey of playing basketball professionally, here in the United States, as well as internationally. Thank you for your continued support .

My whole life I’ve faced multiple challenges such as being homeless; raised by a single mother & more. Through it all, basketball has always given me life. Basketball has taught me so much. Basketball is not just a game; it has taught me many life lessons such as: humbleness, selflessness, responsibility & patience. I’ve had opportunities before in regards to reaching my goal but something always got in the way.

I’ve always been a a strong believer in “everything happens for a reason”. I feel and believe that, because the opportunity to play basketball keeps coming, it’s meant for me to choose it as an active career. If you all would help me reach this goal, this would not just change my life but my family as well. I would feel so accomplished & truly blessed. I'll be able to continue accomplishing the life of my dreams while helping others accomplish theirs as well. Please help me reach my goal; I promise it’ll be worth it !
