Our friend Amber was diagnosed with cancer 18 months ago. She has fought hard but is nearing the end of her battle. She has four lovely kids--Alora, Savana, Elicia and Jace (& Alora's husband Bjorn)--who have taken on the responsibility of caring for Amber and helping with end of life decision making. They are very young adults with their own responsibilities and have been gracious in sharing their space and keeping family and friends updated. They could really use some financial support to help with groceries and some bills while they are unable to be at work full time for awhile. I'm hoping that we can raise a little money to take some stress off their plate as they also prepare to say goodbye to their mom.
