Help Amberon raise money for Prostate Cancer UK!

Team Amberon are walking mountains for Mental Health Week and raising money for Prostate Cancer UK!

On May the 9th 2022 Daniel East, Jamie Rosser, Chris Warren, Ross Mitchell, Magdalena Brace, Yvette Williams and Marieke Biesta will commence the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge! We will begin our team building challenge at Snowdon in the North, then Cadair Idris in Mid-Wales and finishing in South Wales at Pen y fan – ALL WITHIN 24 HOURS! We will each accumulate a total walking distance of 17 miles (27.4km) and an ascent of 2334 metres (7657ft).

Why are we doing this?
• We want to raise awareness for mental health; this is why we have chosen May 9th, the start of Mental Health Week UK. This year's theme for Mental Health Week is Loneliness, and what better way to start raising awareness of this theme than by climbing mountains ‘together’.
• In 2020, the commercial team sadly lost a valued and much-loved team member Lawrence Moore. In his honour, we have chosen to make this challenge an opportunity to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK; our group target is £1000.
• This challenge is an opportunity for each of us to achieve our own personal goals. Exercise has been linked to many well-being benefits mentally and physically. Doing this challenge does not start at the base of Snowdon, it has begun for us already! We have started our physical training and are preparing our minds for the challenge ahead.

In advance, we want to thank you for any donation or support you can give. Follow our journey and keep up-to-date with our progress; follow ‘AmberonLTD’ on social media.

Thank you – The Amberon Team!
