Help Amber start School

If anyone knows amber they know she has had many ups and downs but she's never let it get her down for long! She has come a long way and has worked her tail off to be the best mom worker and friend and now Fiancé she can be ! Amber decided it was finally time to go back to school to further her education to make a better life  for her girls and herself well, She applied and got accepted into the ADN program at Mcc, but due to her dropping classes back in 2003 they have put her on academic probation and she has to pay for books and supplies up front. I copied her post here! 

Well Mcc has done it again! I have busted my tail to get to the point I’m at and most of y’all know my story! Come from divorce, abuse, homelessness and losing it all to where I am now! With that being said I’m taking this last shot at being able to go to nursing school!

So here’s the crazy story! Mcc put me on academic probation from classes I dropped in 2003 after I managed to get on the deans list this semester... I’ve busted my butt to get my gpa to a 3.5 and went to get my books today and was told that my pell grant covered all my tution and left me with 42 $ for books, because when I appealed my pell grant and they approved it so
I could pay my tuition they took my student loans away from me! Basically I’m being punished for dropping classes in 2003 when I was pregnant and had to drop them even though I paid back all the money so I could enroll last semester. I was told today that once I make it to midterm with a c average they would give me the student loan for this semester, but I have to buy the books and everything in bookstore that I needed outta pocket until then after I’ve purchased everything else outta pocket on my own. I mean why would I take out a loan if I had the cash to pay for books etc. this is crazy! Im a single moma. I work nights and go to school in the day and take care of my 2 daughters! I have a lot of pride and this is pretty hard for me but I’ve had several people tell me to make a go fund me account, but classes start next week.... I don’t ask for help and if you know me then you know that and how hard headed I am. So I’ll more than likely be posting a way to donate to see if I can raise the money to be able too get my books, nursing bag, scrubs and all the other stuff in the Mcc book store! I’ll be posting a breakdown of what I have to have from the college schedule so it shows what I owe with everything... It’s outrageous! So please no negative comments or judgements this is hard enough on me and my last resort! If you can’t help I really understand but please pray for me! It’s hard to hear that you have worked so hard tie something and something so stupid is standing in the way of a better career and life for me and my kids!!!

She will be starting school next week so if she is unable to get the money for her supplies she is keeping notes of who donated to be able to return. Thank you !!!
