Hi, my name is Amber.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of becoming a mother. I’ve been trying to have a baby for 13 years. That dream almost came true in 2024 when I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy. Sadly, after just one week in the hospital, he passed away — and I left with empty arms and a broken heart. I then fell pregnant again in July 2025 which ended as an ectopic with my right tube being removed.
Since then, I’ve been on a difficult journey trying to conceive again. Despite medical support and ongoing treatments, I’ve been diagnosed with unexplained infertility along with pcos and endometriosis. I’ve had 3 surgeries, untold scans, blood tests, MRI and fertility medication. Each month has brought fresh hope, followed by heartbreak.
What’s made this even harder is being told I’m not eligible for NHS-funded IVF. The reason? My partner has a child from a previous relationship when he was just 17 — he is now 31. Despite the fact that we’ve never had the chance to raise a child together, and everything we’ve been through, this makes us ineligible.
We’ve been advised that our only option is private IVF from now as the NHS can no longer support me, which is costly and financially out of reach for us right now. That’s why I’m turning to you my friends, my family, and strangers of the internet to help us take the next step toward the family we long for.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to giving our love, hope, and future to the child we dream of welcoming home.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, and supporting us on this journey.
With love,
Amber and Ross
