Hello, my name is Laura and I am trying to help my dear friend Amber and her son get home for her grandfather Ken's funeral in San Jose, California. He passed away the morning of December 21st, 2021 due to COVID.

Amber's family lives in California, so the funeral will take place there. Amber recently started a new job and with the holidays, this is an unexpected and especially difficult financial burden for not only her, but the family she cares for.

If you know Amber, she is the most dedicated and loving person you could ever hope to know. She always puts the needs of others before her own. My hope is that we can send her home to be with her family and honor her grandfather's memory.
