Help Amber Set Sail on the 2026 JoCo Cruise!

Ahoy, fellow JoCoNauts!

If you’ve ever attended the pre-cruise hotel stay at Hotel Dello, you’ve likely benefited from Amber’s hard work in organizing the group rate and shuttle transportation for the past four years. These gatherings help JoCoNauts connect and build friendships before we even set foot on Boat, making the experience feel like coming home rather than being thrown in the deep end.

For 2026, Amber is already working on arranging a pre-cruise hotel group rate in San Diego and will be there for the departure weekend no matter what. But this time, instead of just waving us off at the dock, they’d love to actually join us on the cruise!

Since they’ve done so much to build our community, we wanted to help give back and make this happen. The funds raised will go toward covering Amber’s berth on the 2026 JoCo Cruise, as well as any necessary travel expenses to get them from Washington, D.C., to San Diego.

Their mother has generously offered to put down the initial 20% deposit, but we need to have a good sense of whether fundraising is on track by May 2, 2025—that’s the deadline to decide if we should move forward or request a refund. 

That means every bit of support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or just spreading the word—will help keep this dream afloat!
